Hi, I’m Anna, your certified Stretching and Flexibility Coach.
I believe that our bodies belong in movement. Our bodies are amazing and unique multidisciplinary systems that allow us to move and play in a million ways. My passion is to help people reach their body’s movement potential. From athletes, desk jockeys, retirees, and those healing from injury, my personalized approach to flexibility training will help you feel and move better!
With 10 years of combined coaching experience in gymnastics, pole dance, and flexibility training, I am a dedicated guide to help you reach all your movement goals.

wHAT ARE INTRO SESSIONS LIKE?
I this is your first assisted stretch, your body and mind are in for a special treat! During an introductory session, I’ll ask you questions about your physical history of movement, including past injuries, hobbies, and work-life movement patterns. With that information in mind, I’ll walk you through an assessment stretch for both of us to learn about your body. The stretch should be relaxing and feel good. I’ll be communicating with you to make sure you are comfortable and experiencing an effective stretch without pain. With the information gathered from our conversation and during the stretch, I’ll recommend a customized assisted stretching program to help you reach your unique flexibility goals.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO A STRETCH SESSION?
You should wear clothes that you feel comfortable moving in that do not restrict your movement. These include typical workout clothes, like gym shorts, leggings, T-shirts, etc. Jeans, slacks, belts, or clothes without some elasticity can make some stretches uncomfortable. For the sake of cleanliness and hygiene, I request that you wear a pair of fresh clean socks.
IS AN ASSISTED STRETCH PAINFUL?
No! Stretching of any kind should NEVER be painful. As a professional Stretching and Flexibility Coach, my first priority is to make sure that you are relaxed and comfortable during the entire session. I’ll be constantly checking in about how your body is feeling to make sure that the stretches are working best for your unique body.
Why an assisted stretch when I can just stretch on my own?
I love when clients stretch on their own! Just like with any movement practice, if you’re just starting in the gym, trying out a new sport, or starting on your flexibility journey, consistency is key. An assisted stretch allows you to fully relax into each stretching position with the aid of a professional flexibility coach, which allows for increased blood circulation, easing muscle tension, and increasing range of motion. Assisted stretching often accelerates flexibility outcomes in a safe manor, while also allowing you to learn more about your unique body with a trusted coach. In addition to your assisted stretch session, I’ll recommend self-stretches to help build a custom stretching routine for you to do at home and in life!
